Tūaropaki Trust/MB Century Apprenticeship
MB Century Apprenticeships are an opportunity for Tūaropaki to build the capability of our people and facilitate pathways to greater opportunities.
Eligibility – you must:
- Be an owner, a descendant of a living owner, or a beneficiary of a registered Whānau Trust of Tūaropaki E;
- Commit to, and be available for, study and/or work during the term of the apprenticeship.
To apply – complete and submit the online application form below and upload the supporting documentation:
- Photo ID of you (Passport, Driver’s Licence, Firearms Licence) and Photo ID of your endorsing Owner (Passport, Driver’s Licence, Firearms Licence)
- Whakapapa and Owner Declaration (see note below)
- NCEA Record of Achievement
- Academic Transcript
- Current CV
- Full Birth Certificate(s) of every generation from you the applicant to the owner endorsing the application *Note we do not need the Owner’s birth certificate. We only require the applicant’s and the generations in between.
Carryover Documentation:
If you have successfully applied within the past five years for an education grant (secondary or tertiary) or scholarship, we can carry over your supporting documentation, so you don’t have to supply it again. Carryover documentation includes:
- Photo ID of you (Passport, Driver’s Licence, Firearms Licence) and Photo ID of your endorsing Owner (Passport, Driver’s Licence, Firearms Licence)
- NCEA Record of Achievement
- Academic Transcript
- Whakapapa
- Full Birth Certificate(s) of every generation from the applicant to the owner endorsing the application
You will still be required to supply:
- Owner Declaration
- Current CV
- 3 x Paragraphs
Owner Endorsement:
- Pre-fill and print out the Whakapapa and Owner Declaration forms, get them signed by your endorsing owner and upload below
- Supply a copy of the Owner endorsing your claim’s photo ID (Passport, Driver’s Licence) *Important: The photo ID provided must include the Owner’s signature
